Heya,
First time poster, long time listener
Ive been into Bretts playing since the guys at Soundworks pointed me towards Quid Pro Quo a few years ago. Needless to say, at the time, it was unlike anything I had heard and was extremely inspiring. It was a great counter balance to the Yngwie/Vai/Satch vibe (and all their ripoffs) that were big at the time.
I also had the pleasure of a lesson with Brett a few months ago - I hope to repeat the experience once I nail a few things he put me onto. I play mainly rock/prog with a bit of fusion, I guess. Links below.
Have you guys seen that TJ has joined Planet X? Thats pretty cool...

I've just moved this thread as it seemed more appropriate in "Introductions".

Oh okay, thanks Kev, i didnt even SEE that forum.
How very civilised.
JJW - thanks for having a listen. Yeah the blue guitar is a Soundworks custom. Its very similar to Bretts actually, in feel and tone, but I got it built in 2000 by Paul and Chris at Soundworks so it is largely coincidental. Brett played it and said the same thing - feel and tone very similar. _________________ Check out my website at http://www.steveturner.com.au
