hi, anyone know of any full transcriptions of garsed tunes, particularly off big sky?

I havnt been able to find any myself so I thought I 'd start doin em'. At the mo, I have Brothers on the go - was just aiming for the main themes as it would be annoying to try and transcribe the solo breakdown part as im sure it was all improv...

If you use Windows Media player you can slow down the tunes to work out the tricky fast bits:)The pitch stays the same too,so its easier to work out positions

So you're tabbing it stratcat? Would you be interested in adding it to the collection on the website when you're finished?

I too have started to Tab out some of Brett's stuff. I too am interested in the main themes plus the chord changes/scales that he is using to improve on so you guys can study the concepts as opposed to just grabbing a couple of licks.
I am nowhere near finished but I thought I would post them as I do them.
I may edit them and add more to them and I'll let you know if I make changes.
Kev, I would be honored if you use any of these on the website

here is the main theme of Undoing

For all those Fu'd Fighters out there!

I have been wanting to play this riff for a long time. It's trickier than it sounds. So far I have only had time to TAB out the main riff but I can play most of the melody too but I'm busy moving house at the moment.
During the holidays I'm going to TAB out heaps more.

Enjoy!

Wayne,

to post your tab you need storage space on the web. I use mu tpg isp free web space there is plenty of free web storarge available.
You then need to hit the url button in the post a reply section, enter the address and close it using alt+w.
Also do you have a copy of any of the DVD's yet?
Shanes has a fantastic view of Brett playing this song. The TAB on the site has different fingerings for some of the arpeggios he plays. I actually got him to show me exactly what he plays during my lesson with him too.

keep up the hard work!

Hey Chris, thanks for the Fu'd tab, its awesome. Tried it tonite, took me a while, but I got it now Very Happy . Now what would be really cool if someone tabbed out the awesome b5 sounding lick at the end of the song, best part of the song IMO.

I know most of you probably already know this but here is that cool lick that Brett plays from his 'So What' solo.

I've included my fingering and didn't get the way he ends it, just the cool bit. It isn't as hard to play as I thought it would be, maybe I'm doing it wrong!
