Last night Guthrie's board was striped down, he had removed;
guyatone auto wah
jac compressor
zen drive
mothership

in their place he had
http://www.xotic.us/effects/robotalk2/index.html
and
http://www.xotic.us/effects/bb_plus/index.html

Sadly the koko boost wasnt there, i asked, and he said he was using it earlier for rehearsing, but he LOVES it

---------------------------------------------

More recently i have seen guthrie road testing the Suhr pedals

I know the Shiba and Koko are instant winners, and after initially not quite getting the riot, hes found its sweet spot

so for anyone interested

----------------------------------------------
3/04/10

On april fools day the fellowship recorded a show with the intention of a CD release

Gear wise -

NEW Suhr GG set neck

pedal board wise i really didnt get into too much detail on the order of effects (it was a much smaller board), but if i recall correctly the pedals were -

buffer
peterson tuner
Suhr koko
Xotic BB+
Xotic robotalk2
silver machine wah
erniball jr volume
eventide timefactor
analogman chorus

The real treat was the amp, Guthrie busted out the Cornford Hurricane! I didnt get pics of the settings BUT i had a look and asked, the master was almost maxed out and the gain was just under half

Thanks a bunch! It's a sticky now, but be warned, the pedalboard contents and layout are subject to change without notice! Wink

I don't think there's ONE setting, I probably changes from song to song, or at least day by day...

I'm always surprised when I look at his amp settings and see the amount of gain he plays with. He sounds so clean and uncompressed but I'm sure that's part of the Cornford sound and feel. Still, I gotta think that a lot of it is Guthrie's hands and touch. I've spent plenty of time with the Cornfords but I could never get close to getting his sound.

Thats the mk50 pic--its about a year old and I don't think he usually plays with the mk50, but I have an mk50 and you can get some good guthrie tones with the settings
