The real treat was the amp, Guthrie busted out the Cornford Hurricane! I didnt get pics of the settings BUT i had a look and asked, the master was almost maxed out and the gain was just under half

I'm always surprised when I look at his amp settings and see the amount of gain he plays with. He sounds so clean and uncompressed but I'm sure that's part of the Cornford sound and feel. Still, I gotta think that a lot of it is Guthrie's hands and touch. I've spent plenty of time with the Cornfords but I could never get close to getting his sound. _________________ Ed Yoon

Thats the mk50 pic--its about a year old and I don't think he usually plays with the mk50, but I have an mk50 and you can get some good guthrie tones with the settings _________________ JDiggins
