Hey guys, I'm new here.

1) This is my new rig:

The amp is awesome, especially when cranked above 12:00 Wink

The only thing that I'm missing when I'm playing in a band situation, is a metal palmuting chunky tone.
Due to the darkness of the amp, that's the only thing I can't dial in with the amp itself.

Does anyone had any luck getting a metal rhythm tone with a pedal in combination with their Cornford?

try these settings for a more modern raw tone:

the outdated cornford website and the loss of the forum is such a shame for such a good company.

Warning: this pedal may be harmful to your health.

I tried my BOM on my Carrera just for you...it's not an ideal relationship but it was awesome...the pedal's gate facility is great.

Check this guy out: http://www.myspace.com/chaosgenesis
You might want to drop him a line...his name is James Cornford Cool

...oh - sorry - pedals...

Try a good clean boost - lifts the Roadhouse into a new dimension and then you can load all the dirt on top with buckets... or, like me, simply enjoy some more rootsy and crystalline harmonics...

Guthrie tried out the new Suhr Koko Boost and Shiba Drive pedals during the clinic tour and liked them both but especially liked how the Koko Boost worked with the Roadhouse 50 combo. He'll give them both a thorough run at the Bassment soon, which will be the ultimate acid test for new gear. Guthrie also picked up the Xotic RoboTalk to try and I'm sure that'll get some thorough testing at the Bassment as well.

The pedal that really freaked Guthrie out was a Brazilian-made boutique two-button fuzz that he got to try at Moog Audio in Montreal. He absolutely loved that thing for some absolutely crazy over-the-top yet truly musical sounding fuzz tones. Moog Audio only had one demo unit, so they couldn't part with it, but I'm sure Guthrie will be getting in touch with this pedal maker in Brazil soon and add it to his ever-growing pedal collection.
