Ok so right now I'm learning eric solo
and its pretty easy when you understand
the first trick which is pretty much all of the solo built on.
but than there are more 2 tricks which i manage to do
but still I think there's an easier way to do them.
what would you do in tricks 2 and 3?
heres a picture of the notation to show you what do I mean by "tricks":

Now what I'm doing is:

1st Trick:like the picture shows I tap the first note with my picking hand and then legato the rest (with my fretting hand ofcourse) till the glissando.

2st Tricks:like the picture shows I tap the first note with my picking hand and then legato the rest (with my fretting hand ofcourse) till the
glissando.(I am hitting the same note first tapping with my picking hand and then legato with my fretting hand , which means a fast swtich between the two).

3st Tricks:I tap the first note with my fretting hand! and then legato with my fretting hand and then tap with my picking hand and than legato and glissando.

Is that the easiest way?
Is that what Guthrie is doing?
What would you do?

that looks suspiciously like MY tab Wink

play as written, tap the 20th fret, hammer the 22nd, you want to keep a uniform tapping patter throughout or you'l trip yourself up

Does that mean you're giving up, Levi?

Irrespective of whether you publish the transcriptions here, I don't think you need give up hope of acquiring good transcription jobs. It's still a good advert for your work, and much as I'm loth to admit it, GG scores wouldn't shift enough copies for most publishers to venture the investment. They're more likely to hire you to do something with much bigger sales promise... Synester Gates or whatever his name is...

Do you mean Mitch DuCran? Or JJ Gray? Or officially released transcriptions?

I do see where you're coming from though...

when i transcribed it i was like "that cant be right!!" but those are the notes so i can only assume he just continues as he has throughout the lick
