I'm pretty partial to the first 8 or so notes of the first solo off of Waves on the album. It goes Weewe*e*ew Weewe*e*ew , Weewe*e*ew Weeeuweuwew

(The astericks mean you do a flutter with the whammy bar )

Those notes are like the most perfectly placed/played notes ever...imo. They get me every time. I'm even scared to drive while listening to it, for fear that I might crash! 'cuz they're so good! lol

My favorite all-time lick of Guthrie's is basically...the entire segment of Funk Fusion 2. The video's short enough, so I'd call it a lick.

I like it cause it's very refreshing, and very nice to listen to, which makes it that much more impressive.

I might have to say the small sweepy lick at the start of Uncle Skunk.
There may be others that I prefer when I hear them, but this is the one that sticks in my mind and wows me everytime.
