I guess that there were a few members of this forum there last night; but what a good fun night! Can't remember all of it with perfect clarity of course...! Guthrie was as wonderful as ever; some cool slap stuff and he responded to our drunken catcalls for "shred" with some suitably stupefying axe work. Pete Riley in particular was SUPERB; also nice to see Seth playing more in the spotlight. Any/all of the forum regulars who are within two or three hours drive of Chelmsford owe it to themselves to get over at least a couple of times a year. Great stuff - and would have been even better if Dave Kilminster had turned up! Have never seen him with the Fellowship - I think Frankus said that he had - What is he like in this situation?
He's good. We're spoilt though. The Fellowship have been in the bassment for years (probably four now) so any time the line up changes the regulars will notice a difference, whereas visitors are well chuffed, and rightly so.
I wasn't there last night, I hung up a Klimt print in the living room, instead _________________ Fabulous powers were revealed to me the day I held my magic Suhr(d) aloft and said "by the power of great scale!"
I remember the keyboard guy getting up and rapping Rage Against The Machine's "know your enemy" over the backing to Billie Jean (if i remember rightly) Which I found hilarious as i once spoke to him outside and he greeted us with a extremely well spoken "hello chaps"
My memory of the rest of the evening kind of stops during/after that, but i had a fantastic time.
I also found if you're going to get a slice of pizza from that kebab place round the corner, get it in the interval - as the same pizza will be waiting for you at midnight, causing you to shit through the eye of a needle the next day!

Any of you guys notice any difference in Guthrie's sound or any new stuff that he's doing with all the new goodies he's added recently? _________________ Ed Yoon
