After getting my second G.G. Suhr, I can say with confidence that Suhr guitars just keep getting better and better.

I am in love with this new combination of wood and finish, paired with the same ingenius wiring.

But the real reason I started this thread was to make a place where owners could share their G.G. sound machines with each other and the whole community.

Each guitar from Suhr is absolutely unique and I really think it would be great to see everybody's G.G. Signature Suhr in one place.

So if you have any one of the G.G. Signature guitars,

Please take some pictures (as if you haven't already)

and post them in a reply, so we may marvel in the glory.

Thanks all and Thanks Shon for getting me set up,

Justin

p.s. pictures of mine are coming tomorrow. Smile

Awesome collection, guys! Smile Someday I'll have to get the Antique Modern as well. It's my favorite Suhr of all time and I've sure seen a bunch.

I have been lucky enough to make playing and writing music a "career", if you must call it that. That doesn't mean that I have made anything close to "Maroon 5" money. All I can do is play the bills. Here's the thing though, Since all the equipment I buy is for my "job", I can write it off. Which does soften the blow.

Collecting guitars started when my band started touring around 8 years ago. I started looking at them (well, some) as investments. When I buy a guitar, I may sell others.

I just got my first vintage guitar, a '62 slab board Strat, a few months back. Definitely more of an investment, but the reason why I love my Guthrie Govan sig is because I can get a lot of the tones of a Strat while still having all of the modern goodness I need. All the while at a fraction of what buying all of the guitars needed to get every tone the G.G. has to offer would cost.

The fact is that with all of the factors put in to a GG sig, it's very tough to find a guitar that plays better and one that covers as much tonal ground.

By the way, The Rasmus G.G. is awesome! You'll love playing it and like I said, think about it as an investment, not just in a guitar but in your own playing, you'll be inspired every time you pick it up.

Peace,

Justin

yeah i am trying to make playing and writeing music my careear. I am 24 and starting to feel like its too late.. maybe i am just being to hard onmyself. I understand the investment thing, I live in a small town with almost no music sceen so its hard to even play in a bar cover band.
