I have another technique question for you guys and gals!

Guthrie does a super nice little lick that to my eyes and ears looks a little like this:

b = bend up/down to equivalent note of fret

The second bent is from the ninth fret, pre-bent a whole note up and then lowered.

I love the sound of this, it's a Eb minor pentatonic lick over an Ebmaj7 chord, but then he lands on that last double bent note on the strong major 3rd of the Eb chord.

However, I'm having some difficulties playing it. Anyone feel like trying this for themselves and see if they can work those first two bends in a smooth manner? I'd love some tips on how to move from the first bend down one prebent string with that legato sound. Does he bend both strings right away and dampen as needed?
