Well, you do understand that it's in the context of Asia and he doesn't get to play his "forbidden music" (as he likes to call it) in this format? Wink As long as you understand that. You shouldn't expect him to shred and go "outside" like he normally does with Erotic Cakes and the Fellowship. Enjoy the show! I'm sure that Guthrie will still make your jaws drop but perhaps not wet yourself... Razz Wink

I'm going to see Glasgow play in Asia.
Er.
I think that's right...
So if anyone wants to talk shred and 'forbidden music'(tm), I'll be there!
Best,
John.

Edit

Don't want to spam this thread to much Smile I went to see asia and it was a great 1˝ hour show. They had both a electric and acoustic set, although I enjoyed the electric one alot more. It had more energy, especially the last couple of songs.
Guthrie played both tasteful with excellent phrasing and really ripped it up. That dude can shred I tell you, you should have seen him when he played on the acoustic guitar. Flawless technique! Smile

They had a meet and greet thing 15 minutes after the show so I got a chance to talk to him also. Tried to say that I went to the show to see him and it was great, but it didn't really come out right :p Anyways he's a really nice guy and if you get a chance to see asia. Do it, you won't be disappointed.

/John
