What do think of Ed Roman and his guitars? They look real nice, but have you ever played any? _________________ Mr Han, suddenly i'd like to leave your island. |

I haven't seen many in person. I got to try out a Quicksilver guitar that a customer brought over to try some amps. I thought it looked slick and played alright. The workmanship didn't impress me very much. I only know about Ed Roman through what I've read on the Internet, so I can't really offer any more than what most people already know. _________________ Ed Yoon

i once owned a quicksilver guitar and i was both impressed and unimpressed by it. he likes to leave the back of the necks unfinished which feels nice but over time it can be a real nightmare (especially if it's maple like mine was). he likes to pretend that his guitars are way cheaper than a prs but with just a couple of different options, you find the price around 2500.00. his fretwork is really suspect too right when i pulled mine out of the box it buzzed all over the place, and it needed a fret dressing! i sent it back and they sent it back with heavier strings, higher action, and the same problem! also those blackback pickups are pretty unexceptional. |

Well that beats debating whether or not the Lo-Pro is better than the Lo-Pro Edge
Hey Carlo - you're in the City, right? I work at 46th and 5th, in the heart of suit-and tie-land. We should get together sometime, have a cocktail, and talk shop. _________________ ...the torch has been passed... |
