Not sure what you mean by "camera 1". You're talking about Chapter 1 with Eric Roche? Yeah, I don't know what happened when the guy who took the footage transferred it over to DVD, but it takes about 7~8 seconds for the video to start playing on that first chapter. _________________ Ed Yoon

Ed - I forgot to mention this when we spoke today. Towards the end of the DVD of Guthrie at TM, the video hangs badly and becomes unwatchable. It won't play at all on my computer DVD drive, does better on my home theater, but ultimately craps out there as well. Anyone else experience this? _________________ ...the torch has been passed... |

No, mine is generally OK. It does jump a tiny bit sometimes at that point but nothing drastic.
Out of curiousity, does everyone get a little bit of silent Guthrie between Jamie and the Erotic Cakes set? It's not a problem, just curious.
Blinkin' marvellous DVD either way!
Cheers,

yeah, I do get a little video of Guthrie which is barely audible. I was about to go crazy cause I thought the entire dvd was at that volume. |

Jamie and Eric are both great players and fun to watch. They both have some cool ideas. Anyone know who the arrogant guitarist Eric is talking about is? |

Pierre Bensusan, no doubt...
I wish there was some footage of Thomas Leeb. He's very fun to watch as well. _________________ Ed Yoon

Hi there, I've only heard a few clips so I don't know a lot about him, but check out www.favorednations.com for more info. |

Just got my DVD through, theres some good stuff on there!
The chapters are listed as "cameras" which is a bit weird and im not too sure about the editing of the dvd.
Don't know about anyone else but i like to listen to what musicians have to say inbetween songs. Although the emphasis of the dvd seems to be on Guthrie.
It was good to see Eric Roche play again, i understand he's been having a tough time lately with things. Jamie rocks as usual! |
