I haven't seen Guthrie in the past two issues of Guitar Techniques. I was wondering if he has other commitments right now, or if he is no longer writing for them. Does anyone know?

I think he has been busy with Asia tour, next issue he transcribes a Vai song, I hope that he would continue his guitar soloing lessons,...

He was out of UK for nearly 3 months or so earlier this year - Asia rehearsals in LA, NAMM in Anaheim, European tour with Asia... There was a short South American tour and there will soon be a USA tour starting late this month through late-July. He's one very, very busy man!

The main melody line and the whole tune, to me, sounds like another version of "Die to Live" from Alien Love Secrets. It would have been cool if he transcribed Freak Show Excess.

Exactly what I thought when I heard the clips, there was another song on there which was also really similar to a previous tune... I think it was Freak Show Excess to the Attitude song
