Most of the brit members will be aware of Shaun, but elsewhere his profile is pretty minimal. Suffice to say Shaun is an outsanding virtuoso of the highest degree, and has been a hugely influential player to at least a generation of UK players through his teaching at the Guitar Institute London and the pages of Guitar Techniques.
I was lucky enough to study with him in 1989-90, and until Guthrie and Dave Kilminster rose he was pretty much peerless in the UK.
I recommend his Jazz Metal CD (1994) and upon receiving my For Eric CD was pleased to see that he has a new CD due soon.
I highly recommend this player; have any other members any thoughts?
Do you think he looks like the Potions Master at Hogwarts?
New album called Back in Business. _________________ Fabulous powers were revealed to me the day I held my magic Suhr(d) aloft and said "by the power of great scale!"
I remember asking him personally on where to find his 'Jazz Metal' album during one of MI's demos in the UK...agreat fan of his playing...very tasteful and of course the guy's got serious chops! _________________

I bought "Jazz Metal" (10+) around three years ago and I think he is one could be within the GG league with no effort!! He is an awesome guitarist. I used to follow his lessons in GT. I think he should post his CD in G9 and work in his next album... Why? No many guitarists like him. _________________ Javi
