Slightly tongue-in-cheek thread, but anyway....

Should we ever get to hear Guthrie's album, and should it be successful (fingers crossed on both) - surely the demand would be there for a book of transcriptions....Which begs the question: what poor sod would get the task of transcribing it?!?

Surely GG wouldn't have to do it himself? Smile
And lets face it, how many people could have transcribed "that tapping lick" from Wonderful Slippery Thing? Even with the video evidence and a means of slowing it down, it's still not obvious(!)

And, erm, how many of us could play more than 4 bars of most of the songs?

Wolf Marshall, then we could watch the live version and realise that the Wolf Marshall tab was totally different Wink

Jordan Baker would be the best choice. That would be awesome.

I agree. He is the Man, and as it happens a very nice guy too. What with the blitzkrieg on tabbers, however, he seems to have changed location.
If anyone knows his whereabouts these days, could you post it or maybe PM me?
I can find him elsewhere, but he's probably sick of these requests, and I thought I'd try other avenues first.

I'd join the race to make the tabs, only, contrary to popular belief, Swedes aren't particularly suicidal. Smile
