Waves was straight in to an RK100, and the melody was tracked 4 times, guitars were Suhr single coil 1st track bridge pu 2nd track neck pu, 3rd track suhr with humbuckers bridge pu 4th track neck pu, the great thing is that it sounds like it has effects all over it but it just the way the 4 tracks are working together with the subtly different tones from the guitar and amp,

Inspirational stuff! I'm going to have to give that a try myself! (albeit with slightly less impressive equipment!) I absolutely love the tone on all those clips. Can't wait to actually have this CD in my hands. I haven't been so excited about a CD release for.....I can't remember! |

Yeah, that's really cool. It does sound like a guitar orchestra on that track's main melody line. That melody line would sound awesome performed by an orchestra's string section as well. The RK100 is a great sounding amp. Four tracks of it with the different Suhr guitar/pickup combination just sounds heavenly. _________________ Ed Yoon

Hi there guys, greetings from Portugal
I shouldn't really be spending money right now (even if it's just 20 euros), but I just had to buy Guthrie's album. I finished going through the paypal motions about 30 minutes ago.
I remember ordering the 2004 Clinic video when it was available, and being amazed when I first watched it. Guthrie became instantly one of my favourite players. Right I know I would say that he's still in my top 3 (being Gonçalo Pereira my favourite, and having Pat Metheny close to Guthrie).
I hope now that Guthrie continues to release music at a more steady pace |

It also gives an indication of quite how tight Guthrie's playing is that he can track it quite so perfectly. |

Hello guys,
80 copies??? sold
2200 members on Guthries forum and?
800 hits a day on the Cornford Records site? etc etc
I am thinking that people want to talk about great music but maybe not buy it? and keep the players paying the rent and getting ready for the next album? not to sure?
Confussed of Cornford records,
Take care
