Hello gentlemen and ladies.

So here's a bit of introduction.

As you can tell from my user name, I'm steve. From Hatfield in a county called hertfordshire. I'm 20 years old and i've been playing guitar since i was 11 years old.

I've been playing metal for years, but in the past year or two i've become a bit tired with it. So to broaden my listening horizons i started listen to blues, jazz, fusion and all kinds of other things. I always studied Guthries columns in Guitar Techniques and only recently heard some of his solo stuff. He's kicked a new interest for me to learn to play more than just your average metal and to have lots of different influences from different styles of music.

He also got me interested in Cornford amps. I only yesterday bought my first cornford, a Harlequin. I love the damn thing as much as my Laney VH100R. I'd love to have a Carrera or MK50 one day.

Here's a short list of my gear

Prs Standard 24 (made in 1990)
Cornford Harlequin
Laney VH100R with Marshall 4x12
Fender Strat
Ibanez Universe
Digitech Delay and Expression Factory
Few Boss pedals

And a load of other guitars etc.

My influences are

Andy Timmons, Dream Theatre, Megadeth, Marcel Coenen, Vai, Paul Gilbert, Children Of Bodom, Nevermore, Judas Priest, Nile, Guthrie, Greg Howe, Vinnie Moore etc etc etc

So that's it really Very Happy HI
