I was lucky enough to spend Saturday and Sunday at Music Live, much of it in the presence of the amazing Guthrie Govan on the Cornford stand, feeding everybody delicious bites of his Erotic Cakes.
First off, one of him entertaining crowds on the live stage with his Cornford MK50 II stack - more pix soon.

Glad you like them, guys
The earlier 'missing photo incident' was due to my host's server going down Normal service has now been resumed
Here's a few more to be going on with... (apologies to 56kers, but I thought you'd like to see them a reasonable size)...

Are you a pro photographer or at least a photo enthusiast? These pics have a great pro quality about 'em.
I've got a question for Mr. C:
Hey, Paul, how come you didn't center the MK50II head on top of the cabinet? Too busy with the soundcheck, I imagine! _________________ Ed Yoon

In Paul's absence, I can tell you he didn't put the rig together. There was an extremely tight schedule on the Live Stage, with three bands there at any one time. We got the gear to backstage, then the Music Live Crew lumped it into situ out front. I noticed it too - it would have made a great 'Spinal Tap' moment if I'd crept onto the stage to move it, tripped on a lead and pulled the whole thing over - hence, I stayed put in the pit |

Yes, I was waiting for the MK50 to topple at any monent when the guys man-handled the rig across the stage. Don't know if you saw the near miss Spinal Tap moment when Guthrie trod on the cable and almost yanked it clean out of the socket. These things happen.
I agree, great photos, they really capture the mood. I especially like the one when you can see light shining through from the other side of the amp - ver cool. I can alo see myself i nthe front row on one of them, even more cool! |

Your right Ed, if I had set the rig up it would have totally central
I was busy trying to find the Bass player who security wouldn't let in and then trying to prise a bass rig out of SWR, got there with 5 mins to spare _________________ GoldFish Don't Bounce. |
