Thanks for the review and the pics, Owen. Too bad that 'Waves' didn't make it into the set. I'm sure there was some good reason that it didn't make it.

Think I can pretty much agree with all the comments there. I expected to be floored by Guthrie but what I wasn't anticipating so much was just how tasty Seth was going to be as well. Crazy to have two such talented musicians growing up under one roof. Must has been some awesome jamming!

I agree, Seth is also a jaw dropping player! Does Guthrie play the Erotic Cakes stuff at the Bassment too?

I would have loved to have been there, but I would have hated to have been disappointed with the exlcusion of Waves, and the addition of the two tracks I skip on the CD (the last 2).

I wonder why they didn't play Waves?

I'm not sure the exclusion of Waves was necessarily deliberate.

Some who saw the show have noted its 'informal' nature and there was no written setlist (a fact GG commented on afterwards), so I would think it was perhaps just an oversight?
