Sup, well I just wanted to hi to all of the GG fans out there.
I'm a guitar player and I have been playing for...well way too long. I discovered the seven string a few years back and that's all I play now. I am currently putting together a prog/fusion band. I was actually down in the dumps for a while after a band I was in broke up, trying deperately to get back into it, to play and write. I was ready to call it quits. I will honestly say that Gutrie's playing really inspired me to get back to work and stop whining. I haven't purchased his new CD yet, but I will shortly. The word has been spread around about Guthrie over at the sevenstring.org boards, and links posted for the purchase of his CD. I think we are all in agreement here when it comes to Guthrie and his dedication to guitar...cheers!

You have to see him live or just noodling around at the shop. You have to see him play the fretless guitar. Shocked Or picking on both the steel-string and nylon-string acoustics... About the only thing I haven't seen him do is play traditional classical guitar, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was awesome at it as well since he's so good at fingerstyle playing and jazz chord melodies.
