Being under the authority of my parents, I can't order erotic cakes from abstractlogix or cornford. However i was wondering, why doesnt guthrie just release erotic cakes on itunes? that way itll be MUCH more accessible and cheaper...and id definitely buy it in a heartbeat. Im sure album sales would increase if he did this...your thoughts?

Second, I have a HUGE question about rhode island shred thats been bothering me. I have the old version, aka not the version on erotic cakes, and i was just wonderng: does anyone know the arpeggio he's playing at 1:13? How about the monster arpeggios he's playing at 1:23-1:24? It sounds like string skiping tapping legato arpeggios to me but im not exactly sure. Does anyone have a tab of this?

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

I don't think iTunes would be that cheap, it might be in the US where a single track is 50 cents, but over hear it'd be 79p ( $1.50) a track and if you read ->this<- you'll see that Guthrie would be getting ripped off and for the money saved, not getting the liner notes, you'd be getting ripped off too.

As I understand it Cornfords give Guthrie fair cut of the royalties, anything iTunes could offer would not be as competitive.

I'd like to see the web used to spread the word, but I don't think that should be done at the cost of such good music, or Guthrie having to sell stuff cheap. Music this good should be keeping him fed, but this is a British album and so it costing £12 over here, the same as any US album, of course in the States it's $25 where most albums are $12 (about £6)...

My advice is this: really go to town on your parents see if you can do jobs in order that they get the CD, or put it on a birthday list. Good luck Wink
