I have played for a long time and while I was learning my Blues chops, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Stones etc, my father was badgering me to play Travis, Atkins, Benson, Jazz, Reed, etc. After all that I got into Gatton, Morse, Gilbert, Mason, Hellecasters, Lee, and stuff. Finding someone like GG (who plays it all perfectly) is a really cool thing -- like looking at myself only with 10x the talent . I am a newbie when it comes to Govan, but I really looking forward to digging in to his stuff. Books on order and I'm ready to go.
Cool site btw...Thanks for the access to guys who make me want to still practice hours a day.

Hey Jonny, welcome to the GG Discussion Board. Yeah, we Guthrie fans are a real open-minded and eclectic bunch into all kinds of music since that's how Guthrie is. Good to have you over and contribute. I think the thing about Guthrie is that he inspires us to be the best we can be and have fun while doing it. _________________ Ed Yoon
