If anyone is interested in learning more nylon/finger style guitar "Pumping Nylon" by Scott Tennant is a really fantastic book and i highly recommend it. _________________ "Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast"
Covers guitar theory, masses of chords, scales, modes, chord progressions including blues progressions and substitutions, music score reading basic theory, circle of fifths, modal theory,
Guitar tuning and setup, pickups and electronic setups, microphone techniques and gear advice, guitar construction overview, some useful pages on acoustics and audio physics, sinewaves etc.
And some articles on revolutionary guitarists and how they changed the perception of guitar at the beginning of the book.
It's the only book I've ever needed on guitar. That being said it was about a decade ago I bought it. It might be worth looking up an updated version, it don't contain much about the new 7/8 string guitars, Djent, Suhr equipment, and some other recent important things in music.
