most likely he just needs some single coil tones for some of there tres caballeros songs but still needs the bridge humbucker

It would be nice, actually, if Guthrie's current gear got updated on the respective section of the Aristocrats website. What say you, Ed? Smile

You must know about his recent venture with Fx8. I know such things are never permanent, but do you know if he also plans to use in the recording studio?

Looks like the setup for the Asian clinic tour was:

-guitar- fx8 (four-cable post/pre), 2x expression pedals, Victory lunchbox amp- rental cab


And for the Aristocrats gig the same only with other cab (brought by the band)?


With such basic setup (tube head and V30 cab) I'm pretty sure most concert arrangers could easily provide identical backline for easier travel. If the patches and settings for Fx8 are transferable (like a download of settings to load into another identical unit) the whole rig could be duplicated for fly-in jobs).
