chord progression is:
F - Am - Em - D#
Bb - Am - Gm -C
I know I can play F major scale over F, Am, Bb, Am, Gm, C. Not entirely sure what to do over Em and D#, i just use my ear and or hit the chord tones. What other scales can I use (especially over the Em to D# part).
it's a I - III - VIIm - bVIImaj - IV - III - II - V
F - Am - Em - Eb - Bb - Am - Gm - C
Try Eb Lydian over Eb(D#) modal interchange
and E phrygian over Em
you can then also play the Bb as ionian and not lydian, but thats just a matter of taste I guess.
There are also some other possibilities but thats probably the best sounding.
What style is it in?
