Hello Guys,

I'm new to this forum. I've been reading it for a while.
I play guitar for 15 years but i'm still a newbie. My technique is ok but i lack in basic theoretician knowledge.

This new have of guitar gods (GG, Andy Wood, etc) really inspired me so i want to expand my knowledge to take my playing to another level.
What do you guys advise?

Any books?
Any particular site?
Any instructional DVD or something like that?

There is so much information out there that i'm afraid that i'll be mislead.

Thank you so much and sorry for my English.
Cheerz^^

Hi sprada,

Your english seems fine. Welcome to the forum Smile

There are loads of discussions on books around here. I'd be interested to know what you think is lacking from your theory.

all the best Smile

Hi Frankus, thanks for the reply.

When i'm soloing i feel like i always sound the same. i basically use pentatonic and natural minor.
when i'm playing GG stuff i don't have a clue what i'm doing.
I want to really understand modes.
I want to be able to play leads comfortably over every single key.

My technique also needs major improvement (picking, sweep picking, tapping, etc etc etc).
