|
|
Hi all
I am a Cornford Roadhouse 30 user/owner and made the daily trip to the Cornford Forum and really missing it not being there. As is integral to the Govan sound currently, I pitched up here hoping to find others and to maybe reconvene important gear discussion here... if the 'Mods' accept it?
I was worrying if, in these hard times, Cornford had gone tits up... seeing as I have a warranty to be covered still!
So, please make your presence known...
Laters,

Cornford owners and enthusiasts are more than welcome to hang out here and talk about anything related to Cornford. I hope Paul C will hang out as well and answer any questions. _________________ Ed Yoon

Thanks, Ed.
I was moderating the Cornford forum. Alas the hacking attacks took their toll and our host decided to call it a day to protect the sites / operations of his paying clients.
I am currently trying to arrange a suitable new home, so rest assured we should be back up and running soon. I'll post on here when that happens.
Keep the faith guys n' gals _________________

Are you saying that there was a series of attacks specifically on the Cornford website? _________________ SoundCloud |

Good to hear from you too

Apparently so.
I don't think it was a case of anybody having it in for Cornford specifically, just that the server the forum was on was obviously on some hacker's software's hitlist
New server soon, so I guess we'll see... _________________

I understand your frustration, but the guys at the factory spend all of their time building amps and looking after customers. Volunteers like myself are happy to help with forums, websites, etc., but they have to fit in around our professional and home lives.
They will be getting a new site soon though, 'cos I'm currently doing that too _________________

I had that with www.justinguitar.com when I ran that, I kept pushing for a new version of PHPBB but the service provider he'd signed up to didn't go for it ah well he's doing great without me now
Good luck with the forum hosting. _________________ Fabulous powers were revealed to me the day I held my magic Suhr(d) aloft and said "by the power of great scale!"

MK50II user reporting for duty Sir !!
Would be great to see the old Cornford forum back up and running.
I had only just started using it before it went belly up.
Great place for getting info and discussing best ways of using their gear. |

I just got a cornford MK50 head in the mail today! I'm still waiting for my cab to arrive, but I plugged it into a marshall combo I have and it sounded unbelievable before i even started playing with the knobs _________________ JDiggins |
