booked my hotel its gonna be a 6 hour drive, and its so gonna be worth it. i know there are people on here who must have seen a few fellowship shows, but just the idea of watching guthrie from a few feet away do his thing is gonna be so cool. ps im not nuts i promise, just so excited. ps anyone know what time the basement opens, keen to have a pint before the show.

Hi The Bassment opens about 8.30ish, the band arrive about 9 to 9.15ish to set up and 'normally' start about 9.30ish so plenty of time for a pint or two. If you do get there early save a seat for me and Mr Kilminster!!!

Yes, Guthrie doesn't mind photos but he prefers that you sit back and enjoy the music instead of trying to film what he's doing. Smile

As long as it's not constant flashing... we've had that down there before and it can be awful. I'm sure a little is ok.

eer yeah a bit good then, all the people at the basement were cool people too, still dont think its sunk in yet i went back to my hotel and couldnt sleep just lay thee til 4am, with my mind going "what the hell" just beyond amazing players, ill definately be going again, also guthrie with the all suhr rig, sounded great, his new signature guitar was very cool!
also got the back plate of my GG signed hes such a quiet humble guy, only complaint is a funny one i know, they should charge more than £5.

Glad you enjoyed the show and got to see the debut of Guthrie's new axe. Guthrie is outright amazing every single time and I've now seen him live nearly 50 times over the years. So any pics? Very Happy

Glad you enjoyed it! I caught a rare non-Basement Fellowship gig at last year's Peach clinic...was like a mini religious experience Wink
