Hey guys!

I'm pretty stoked to help announce the upcoming guitarists festival, Monkeyfest 2011!

http://youtu.be/tAGJX3o-8zY

http://youtu.be/rv6TWKrXgGU

the world's first festival for guitarists and fans of guitar-oriented rock! Listen to live bands, learn to play from some of the world's top guitarists, eat, drink, and rock out at this historic event!

Including performances and clinics from Guthrie Govan, Andy James, Rob Chapman, Godsized, Haken, Lyle Watt and myself amongst many others!

More details and info on buying tickets etc here:

http://www.monkeyfest.co.uk

EDIT: Alex Hutchings has now been confirmed to be playing and teaching at Monkeyfest!

I would love to come, but a mixture of money being rough, the lack of transport and the fact I genuinely dislike Rob Chapman makes it hard.

One day I'll see Guthrie...one day. Sad

Well unfortunately Rory you can't please everyone...

However I am more excited than a Bull dog at the butchers to have Guthrie at MonkeyFest!! It's an honor to have an artist of his calibre performing at teaching there and the second he takes stage I will go from festival owner to "Hairs up on neck" audience member.

I hope to see as many of you nice people there as possible Wink

Sadly and annoyingly, it falls right in the middle of my holiday, so I'll have to be satisfied with raising a few relaxed pints to you all.

[And I genuinely can't stand the sight of markmcg... Wink ]
