Hey guys,

I don't know if you've noticed but the most recent pics of GG's axe from the last leg of the Tres Caballeros tour show a coil tap switch:

How cool. I reckon this is a 'prototype' of an updated model which Charvel might introduce later on for the general consumption. The same, hopefully, goes with the roasted swamp ash model which GG has recently used as his dropped-D guitar:

Interesting.

Also, the knobs are different, with numbers at the bottom.

Indeed, I think Ed Yoon (alexkhan) has already talked about this here in the forum. They were originally doing something odd with those brass marks in the maple top which then Guthrie requested to be removed, to be replaced at some later point with numbered knobs. Well, here it comes!
