Ha, beat you to it on the other "Garsed, Govan, Howe" thread! Wink Yeah, Greg is so awesome. I really get the feeling that Greg and Guthrie will do something together in the future. I can tell Greg really dug what Guthrie was doing.

YES!

Thanks for posting that video guys! I wouldn't have realized it was put there until days later seeing as Howe's site seems to rarely be updated which = me not visitng often.

By the way, do you guys know what Howe's set up consists of lately? I really love his tone and I'm just curious as to what he's using nowadays, IE: what he used in that video. Laughing Other than the obvious Custom ESP horizon. He's pretty religious when it comes to the TS's isn't he? Wink

Someone at the Petrucci forum mentioned that he left Madison amps and is currently in talks with other amp manufacturers (I think he's considering VHT or Cornford).

I don't know what he's using in that video or what he used in recording Extraction. Maybe a Marshall or Vetta head?

For some reason the URL for the video changed.

That's interesting... I do remember Paul C demoing the RK100 for Greg on one of the days he was here. He seemed to really like the sound of that amp. But it's kind of hard to imagine Greg using another player's signature amp. If he was to sign on with Cornford, I'm sure Paul C will build him a sig amp as well - the GH50 or something. Wink

I also think it's high-time that Suhr offer a 24-fret Standard that Greg could get into! Twisted Evil

If Greg ever gets a signature Cornford, that will be the end of it and I will have to resort to robbing a bank to get one of those amps.
