I think one Guthrie suggested somewhere is to play simple melodies you know, bending up to each note from the fret below.
The results sound quite drunken
I guess this could then be taken a step further by bending from two frets below, etc.

Another good exercise could be starting with the bent note and releasing the bend gradually to the note below. That should really help you work on the intonation aspect of bending with control and finesse. _________________ Ed Yoon
