Hey guys,

I attended a riff-contest a while ago and although I didn't even pass the pre-selection, perhaps you'd like to listen anyway.

Please note that the backing track was provided; the 'challenge' was to play a solo over that already existing backingtrack.

That's very good playing. You've definitely got good chops. It does sound a little choppy here and there in terms of flow, but very good playing! Thanks for sharing that!

The backingtrack was not in my style at all, so was a bit tricky for me to come up with some licks.

One day I'd love to make my own album. That music would be more in my own style and sounds very different then this mp3 I've uploaded. But it was fun doing it anyway Cool
