Hmmm you couldn't apply the pulling off/hammering on techniques to get a staccato sound though, could you?

BTW: a pianist picks/presses every note and still he's able to make stuff sound gentle. If guitarists would master their picking technique, they could do that as well. Pianists are a perfect example of what it sounds like to have and use the whole dynamic range while playing every note. |

That was my initial point... you get far more options with picking, and getting proficient at picking...

That was my initial point... you get far more options with picking, and getting proficient at picking...
