An example of Shawn's unmatched all-around musicianship and virtuosity on not only the guitar, but the keyboard as well:

http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=Qbc1AyIC6xk

That's one of the most mindblowing keyboard solos I've seen in a long, long time. I mean, that's classical type of virtuosity in a modern music setting. The guitar solo is pretty cool, too, in a typical Shawn way, but it's his work on the keys here that really blows my mind.

Holy Shit. I really wasn't expecting that. That (keys solo) was just inspirational playing.

Yeah, I haven't downloaded anything from The List in quite a while - need to organise my time and just get the whole thing onto my hard-drive at some point.

Scary isn't the word. Terrifying, perhaps.

Great clip.

The guy just had so much music in him, he probably could pull that off on any instrument he played.

Imagine what his "inner jukebox" sounded like Cool

That's pretty awesome! Shocked I like his keyboard playing better than his guitar playing, to tell you the truth. Amazing!

It was actually on `Abstract Logic` with Lane/Hellborg and Kofi Baker on drums that Shawn played his piano piece `Pluie de Etincelles`.
