It's a pretty intense pedal with mega amounts of gain. It's somewhere in between high-gain distortion and fuzz. But it also has an overdrive mode that's smoother and with a lot less gain. It's pretty versatile in that regard but, like any other OD/Distortion/Fuzz pedal, it's best to try it out to see if it works for you. It's highly subjective when it comes to the character of overdrive and distortion. I know Guthrie used to use this for awhile. It seems he's settled on the Zendrive for general OD use and the Analog Man-modded Tube Screamer with the T guitar. _________________ Ed Yoon
