Can anyone explain, clearly, how to sweep pick a three string arpeggio.... iknow jimmy uses this technique on occasion and i cant seem to get the timing down right even at a slow pace.

The trick is to start really slow and get the timing down. Then work bring the speed up.

There is a great book that includes a ton of sweeping ideas:

I just realized how much I dont know about guitar
humbling to hear that man play.....
ill take two books one for me one for my son
who is 13....btw check the video of that guys son
shredding after dad taught hum some chops
