This is true; there a lot of players who went to 12's or 13's and have gone back to 11's; Aynsley Lister, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and others; I only use a 12 on top E; the rest are 11's.

What I use for the SRV tone is a AV 62 Strat with a TS9DX and a 65 twin or a Vibroking. This setup get's me in the ball park. It's also close to the setup Henry Garza plays with ...
