Anyone know anything about Stevie Ray Vaughan's use of this amp or how it compares to the tone of a JTM45/100 or Superlead? Thanks.

I think it's a G, not a B. The B sounds too high and you can get more out of the G when you do it.

I'm surprised you hear Vibroverb from 'Texas Flood' when it was recorded on a Dumble Dumbleland bass amp. That's how Stevie Ray Vaughan became interested in Dumble amplifiers.

I personally suggest Ernie Ball Not Even Slinkies along with some individual plain strings. Not Even's are 12-16-24-32-44-56 and I substitute the e and g strings for a 13 and an 18. I love the sound o ...
