Hey guys i just got my new american vintage 62 reissue strat and i love it except im having a hard time screwing the tremelo bar in, can you guys give me some pointers or help me out? (its my first time putting a tremelo bar in a guitar)

Hmm, is this the tremolo bar that came with the instrument? It should be a breeze to screw in and if you find yourself forcing it, it's probably because it doesn't fit. Trem. bars come in different sizes so you might just need to get another one (they're super cheap)

well, i palyed the 62 that was on the wall, i LOVED it and i said ill buy it, he said "ill get the case and things", so yes the tremolo hbar came with the instrument, and im pretty sure its the right one beacsue it looks like the vintage kind, and the case he gave me was brown tolex which is correct for the 62 strat (instead of tweed for the 57)

i just got it in, it might be my imagination but it seems a little cock eyed, i can use it ok though, and since ive never used any other tremelo its hard to compare.....

maybe i should take it to the shop just to make sure nothing is wrong..
