JBLD130F is a great speaker for my Vibroverb, but SRV had the JBLD130E in his Vibroverb. The E series was more glassy sounding.
I wouldn't be afraid of trying some Weber California's in your Twin. They are modeled after JBLs. I've had great success with them so far.
You should find out my type of speakers KWS had in his Twins.

Speakers a critical part to stevies' sound.
Here is a clip i have of a My homemade vibroverb clone. Its got a E130 JBL speaker which is the same stevie used:

EV speakers work just as good, but I'm leaning towards the JBLs for the larger speaker size (12 and 15") I prefer my EVM 10m speakers with the super reverb.
so I guess in the end, I'd belly up and find EVs and JBLs and find out which on YOU like better. _________________ -Tyler
