This new guitar mag. Guitar Edge came out this month. It has a great "how to" "SRV's tone made easy" on playing Cold Shot, what amps, pedals and other good stuff. A good story and a couple cool pictures.

yep, i subscribed to Guitar Edge - i also wrote 'em an email asking them to try to tab some oddball stuff, songs that aren't available anywhere else. all the songs they tabbed this time are great, but they've all been tabbed alot, both in magazines and in tab books. i would really like to see tabs by rory gallagher, be bop deluxe, and other lesser-known artists and then lesser known songs by jimi, srv, etc.

but aside from all that, GE is a high-quality magazine.
