Scott, i think to understand that you have the RC2 always on and use the second 'channel' for leads. If so, have you also consdidered the pedal being fitted with just one footswitch since you never switch the first channel on/off?

No, because I need to turn off the RC when I use my 3 other distortion pedals - the Maxon SD-9, Fulltone Octafuzz, and Zvex Fuzz Factory.

The new RC is great because the blue channel is cleaner for chords and the orange channel adds enough gain for solos, but it always sounds like a boost pedal. Sometimes I want a higher gain sound.

So the blue channel is pretty much always on right? Then sometimes you may add the orange channel for solos...and then for even more gain you would add the SD-9 with the blue channel ON and orange channel OFF?

Just want to clarify.

Best,
Chris

No, when I use other pedals I turn the RC off. I never mix pedals - my distortion pedals have enough gain and don't need the RC.
