Scott,

Many years ago I asked you about your cable lengths from you pedal board to your amp effects loop and back, and how that may have affected your tone. You replied that you have a buffer so there is no worries about tone degradation.

but more recently in your archives (past few years) I've seen that your attitude has changed regarding buffers and you now seem to not be in favor of using them.

Could you expand a little on how you realized the need to stop using them, and how you technically overcame the original concern for over capacitance robbing your signal/tone?
