Hello Scott,
I think i can hear some diminished sounds during the solo on the dolemite track.How are these approached? It kind of makes the A7 part sound's slightly Dorian but with an Eb note in there. Also on the V chord E7 is that outside phrasing an E Altered scale combined with chromatic runs?
Sorry for the silly questions, it just amazes me that it's so outside but within the appropriate context, by far the most interesting solo ive heard on more traditional chord changes.
