hmm i think you might be right. that solo goes all the way to about 2:50 without changing guitars, i guess that's why i didn't consider it as it sounds like a regular clean electric could be doing the ...

Slidey boy 1:03, Guthrie does that little solo with the mandolin like muted start..
how is he getting that sort of sound? it's got a lot of bass to it, it seems...

closest i've come is playing it ...
