Hey Guys
Recently did an 'in the style of Guthrie Govan' vid and uploaded it to the tube.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=tIHbXKuBEYY
Let me know what you think and if you feel it captures his style or not.
Thanks! _________________ Virtuosity is only useful when serving a musical purpose - J.S.BARK

Great video! You should post a follow up video that breaks down the solo and show what makes it sound like Guthrie.
What amp are you playing through?
P.S. Be careful you don't poke an eye out with that guitar j/k |

Great job as usual, Rick! That is indeed quite Govanesque! _________________ Ed Yoon

Awesome stuff Rick!
Definitely captures the man's vibe. Has all those little chromatic 'glue' runs and the 'bendy' phrasing of Mr Govan as well the showstopping skipped tapped arps.
Brilliant stuff! _________________ Cheers

Very impressive!!! The only think I find somewhat disapointing is the fact that it isn't an actual lesson, like the title implies... |
