The name is Jon Calter, the best microtonal electric guitarist in the world. He plays blues/jazz fusion stuff from a custom built 64-notes per octave G&L guitar .

Are there any clips on that site? I couldn't find any. Not quite willing to buy CDs unless I hear some good samplings. Why is it that only G&L has these microtonal necks on them? I don't really care for G&L guitars. They're not bad, but I don't like 'em. They brought over 4 samples for me to hang at the shop for over a week to see what the response would be like and I don't think one person even picked up one of 'em. _________________ Ed Yoon

I can't seem to find his music clips anywhere online, but have bought some of his albums before, very listenable and extremely challenging music...I mean can you imagine hearing all these new chords and scales which we can't find in 12-tone equal temperament system? |

No, I can't, although I have heard some Indian classical music before. My understanding is that they don't really use harmonies like they do with the 12-tone equal temperament system with this kind of music. _________________ Ed Yoon
