Sucks, doesn't it?
Still, if you aren't part of the solution, you must be part of the problem...
*DLM also wonders if Guthrie isn't shooting himself in the foot with his stance on video/audio boots*
You ain't seen me, roight? |

It's dead because it's so civil around here.
If we want some GG posting action, Guthrie's YouTube vids are the place to be and we can argue with the idiots who come in to say that Guthrie sucks! _________________ Ed Yoon

I might also postulate that this board would be far more attractive if Guthrie (still) posted regularly on it...
(Although, of course, if he released a new album every few months we could exempt him from this responsibility fully. ) |

The internet is a tiny slice of life, and this is a tiny slice of the internet. I find it reassuring this place is dead quiet; users have a life/net balance _________________ Fabulous powers were revealed to me the day I held my magic Suhr(d) aloft and said "by the power of great scale!"

If I had all the time in the world, I may be tempted, but I barely have the time to keep up with this forum, the Suhr forum and a few other places I frequent as part of my daily work chores.
I do browse Guthrie's YT vids to see what kind of traffic they're generating and can't help but notice some of the comments. Yeah, some pathetic comments every now and then.
I find myself spending more and more time away from the Internet as time goes by - especially away from work. I answer emails, read up on the news, get some specific info when I need to and that's about it. _________________ Ed Yoon

I'll try to be more active
I feel as though only random people are posting every once and a while.. only a few regulars. It's like a disjointed family that doesn't communicate well.. Only talk to each other when we need things.
I also don't really know anybody here.. I'll say a little bit about myself.. Maybe help bring some of us together a little more:
I'm John Diggins, guitar player, Guthrie Govan fan.. Originally from a small town in NY (Alfred.. Upstate NY), but now I go to Berklee School of Music with many other Guthrie fans. I check these forums to see what other Guthrie fans around the world are up to.. I play on a Gibson SG-would love a suhr, but my budget went to getting a cornford...and going to college. I'm only a first semester, not really sure what I plan on doing.. There are some kids here, as well as myself sometimes, who tab out fair amounts of Guthrie stuff... I'll try to share some of the wealth _________________ JDiggins |
